Cara Christenson is the CCO and co-founder of Elevate5 Digital Marketing, her second successful branding and design company. Our Venue:
Brush Canyon Ranch has been in the Christenson family for six generations. The land tells the story of this connection through old homesteads and family stories tied to different locations on the ranch – all of which ties us and now, you, to this property. It’s served as a sawmill, produced hay, grown potatoes, served as a guest ranch, and still today raises beef cattle and horses, as well as serving as a highly popular mountain wedding venue. It’s a beautiful property operated by a big, quirky, beautiful family, steeped in the tradition of making guests feel like family.
Travel:
We are 1.5 hours south of Colorado Springs and 2.5 hours south of Denver.
Physical Ability Concerns:
The ranch, pavilion, and bath house are all very accessible. Certain Ranch Camp activities and challenges may be difficult for individuals with physical limitations, especially at our elevation of 7,500 feet. We suggest opting out of any activities that feel overly strenuous and instead enjoy a quiet moment in the willows by the creek. If you have concerns, please reach out directly to [email protected].
Faith:
Bring it. You’ll want it for this deep-dive, transformative event, and most especially the mountain creek cold plunge! While we whole-heartedly believe in Jesus Christ, we also whole-heartedly welcome and respect you and your beliefs. Please also extend that courtesy to all guests!
Meals:
We will provide hearty ranch meals, drinks, and light snacks during the event. You are welcome to bring whatever additional food or drinks you would like. The nearest stores and cafes are 15 minutes away, so it is wise to come with these items packed in advance!
Dress:
Casual with western attitude! Feel free to come with your western gear. Be comfortable, bring a jacket, and wear layers as temperatures can swing widely including heat AND snow! Come with attire for hiking, cold plunging, campfires, dancing, and horse activities!
Kids:
This transformative event and business training is designed for adults. Leave the kids at home for this one!
Pets:
Please leave your pets at home. The ranch is teaming with its own band of misfit animals including cattle, horses, dogs, and lots of barn cats. Additional visitors can cause things to go awry and generate unnecessary distraction and stress for you, your pet, and our ranch.
